New group for children using AAC launched thanks to Glasgow Credit Union

Thanks to a grant of £1,524 from Glasgow Credit Union's Giving Glasgow fund, Bobath Scotland is delighted that there will be a new holiday group beginning for primary aged children who use alternative communications.

During the February half term holiday we're delighted to be bringing together children with cerebral palsy who cannot talk but instead use symbol books, signing or electronic communication. Music, play and fun will help children develop their communication skills and build their confidence, helping them take part more confidently at school and with friends and family.

If you would like to find out more about the group please contact olive.leonard@bobath.scot or call 0141 352 5000.

Thanks again to customers and colleagues at Glasgow Credit Union for making this possible.
