World CP Day Conference
Event Date: 04/10/2017
Join us for our 4th annual World CP Day Conference on Wednesday 4th October 2017 at the Glasgow Hilton.
9am: Event Registration & Exhibits open, 10am: Welcome 3.30pm: Conference closes
Our conference sees speakers and exhibitors from across the UK come together to share their knowledge and expertise. This event is free to attend, thanks to the kind support of Digby Brown Solicitors, who have been sponsoring the conference since it began in 2014.
Last year saw Jeane Freeman MSP, minister for Social Security, open the conference and in 2015 we welcomed Jamie Hepburn MSP, who was at that time minister for Sport, Health Improvement and Mental Health. Each year we welcome a wide range of speakers, chosen to suit the interests of both families and professionals, as well as students. The conference aims to highlight the services that are in place to help those living with CP across Scotland, but is also a unique opportunity to bring the CP community together to share experiences and knowledge.
Here's what previous attendees had to say about the event;
"Good balance between talks and stands for service users and professionals/students. Very well organised and informative. Thank you!"
"The World CP Day event was a great day which made me feel motivated and eager to research and study even more. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be there!"
"I just wanted to let you know how interesting myself and other students found the Bobath Conference and all the stalls and speakers that were present. I can't thank you enough!"
