Bike for Bobath – 21 August 2010
The sponsored Bike for Bobath event follows a scenic but flat 20 mile route from the SECC in Glasgow to Lomond Shores at Balloch.
Bike for Bobath is a fun ride, not a race and a fantastic way to get some exercise, enjoy freedom in the open air and raise money to help children with cerebral palsy. It is ideal for families and groups of friends of any age from 7 to 70! You don’t need to be particularly fit to enjoy the ride – you can go at your own pace. The 20 mile route is fully marshalled with free refreshment stops every 5 miles and First Aid points.
There is free car parking at the SECC and we provide coaches to return cyclists and their bikes to the starting point at the end of the day.

Dragon Boat Challenge - June 2011 (date tbc)
The 10th anniversary of Bobath Scotland’s Annual Dragon Boat Challenge on 5th June 2010 proved a huge success, with 18 teams taking to the waters – even the weather was kind to us!
Sponsorship money is still coming in and we will update on a total as soon as possible.
Thanks to everyone on the day who made it a huge success.
For those who watched it from the shore side but would love to take part next time, watch this space for details of next years’ challenge.
Golf Challenge – June 2011 (date tbc)
12 teams took part in our Annual Golf Challenge on 16 June 2010 at Drumpellier in Lanarkshire. Well done to the RE/MAX Central team who had a clear win on the day and our sincere thanks to everyone who participated and to those companies who kindly donated raffle prizes.
A World of Opportunities
Feisty fundraisers have gone that extra mile for Bobath Scotland by taking part in once-in-a-lifetime trips to raise money for Scotland’s children with cerebral palsy. In recent years, supporters have made the pilgrimage to the Great Wall of China and have conquered Peru’s Inca Trail. We’re always keen to hear ideas for new fundraising adventures, so please get in touch if you have a burning ambition that could help the work of Bobath Scotland.
