MEADOWS MARATHON 2012 (04/03/12)
As well as a marathon, this Edinburgh-based event also offers half marathon and fun run races (5.6km) if you're aren't feeling fit enough. A perfect warm-up for the Edinburgh Marathon later on in the year!
THE MIGHTY DEERSTALKER 10K & 5K (17/03/12)
The flagship event in the Notorious Night series, this course will involve getting wet and overcoming obstacles, while the 10K run is even held in the dark! Not for the faint-hearted, this run does have a great atmosphere, with live music at the campsite after the challenge is over.
GLASGOW LADIES 10K (13/05/12)
We'd be delighted if any of our lovely female supporters would consider running the Glasgow Ladies 10K for us! Entries are open now, so get over there and sign up - it's a great excuse to get fit and raise cash for your favourite charity at the same time.
EDINBURGH MARATHON FESTIVAL (26/05/12 and 27/05/12)
More than just a marathon! On 26/05/12, Edinburgh will play host to a range of races, including 5K and 10K races for adults and juniors, an International breakfast run, a Mascot race and 5K races for wheelchair users and hand-bikes. Meanwhile, 27/05/12 will feature the marathon itself, a half-marathon and a team relay.
CHALLENGE SCOTLAND (24/06/12)
If you aren't really a runner, Challenge Scotland (based in Edinburgh) may be for you - though they do have a fun run, they also host sponsored walks of various lengths, depending on your ability, and even a Toddle for Scotland event for under 6s!
SCOTTISH COAST TO COAST 2012 (15/09/12 and 16/09/12)
If you want a bigger challenge, try signing up for this event. More than just a run, this two-day event gives you the chance to hike, run, cycle and kayak your way across Scotland from Nairn to Loch Leven.
GREAT SCOTTISH RUN 10K and Half-Marathon (Date TBC, usually in September)
These Glasgow-based runs are ever-popular and you can choose between the half marathon and the 10K run, depending on your fitness levels.
