What is a Friend of Bobath Scotland?

Become a Friend of Bobath Scotland and have fun with family and friends by hosting events, completing challenges and spreading the word about Bobath Scotland!

Friends of Bobath Scotland are dedicated community fundraising groups who make it their mission to raise as much money and awareness as possible for our charity. All you need is a group of like-minded friends and a determination to improve the lives of Scottish children with cerebral palsy -  though a sense of humour often helps, too!

Remember, we could not provide our specialised therapy without the dedication and generosity of our loyal supporters - people just like yourself, who are determined to really make a difference in their local community.

Four steps to success:

1. Get together with your team and decide on your team name!
2. Contact us, and we'll register you and send you out a welcome pack full of exciting fundraising ideas, ranging from skydiving to coffee mornings.
3. Use the pack to plan your fundraising year - two or three activities can be a good amount to start with! We will provide advice and support as needed, as well as fundraising materials such as posters, flyers, tickets, collection boxes and press releases.
4. Send in your raised funds and keep us up to date with your progress - we especially love to see your photos!

We really value the help that Friends of Bobath Scotland can give us and we will keep your informed about how much your group has raised by providing regular statements. Whether it is by raising funds or simply raising awareness of our work, you will be directly making a difference to the children who attend the centre.
