Go Green for CP this March!
As you may know, March is Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month (CPAM) and this year we are asking you to ‘Go Green for CP’! We’ve got lots of fundraising ideas for you to take part in throughout the month, to help us raise the vital funds needed to support those living with cerebral palsy in Scotland. There’s an estimated 15,000 people in Scotland who are living with CP, and as the only charity in Scotland dedicated to helping those with CP at any age, we need your support to reach as many people as possible.
Recycling is just one of the ways you can Go Green this March – if you’re looking to do something simple, why not gather up some of the old mobiles you have lying around the house and donate them through Recycle4Charity? Or maybe your wardrobe is in desperate need of a clear out? You could also gather some friends together for a ‘swap shop’, where you bring along unwanted clothing and exchange them for a charitable donation.
Or if you’re trying to get fit and healthy for the summer why not walk or cycle to work instead of taking the car, and donate your petrol money?
For schools and offices you can keep it simple by holding a green themed dress down day, where everyone wears something green and makes a donation. You could also challenge yourselves to a green themed bake sale and see what goodies you can come up with?
We also have a range of materials available for schools, such as presentations, word searches and lesson plans.
To help us support those living with CP, you can donate to the Go Green appeal here – Thank you.
