Bobath patron, HRH The Duchess of Gloucester, delighted families, staff and supporters this spring when she visited the Glasgow therapy centre.
The Duchess saw therapy in action before meeting and chatting to guests.
Kayleigh Ptak (7) of Abernethy – who has attended Bobath Scotland since January 2006 – presented the Duchess with a framed collage of colourful hand prints painted by the centre’s children.
In a message to Bobath’s fundraising team following the visit, the Duchess’s lady in waiting, Lucinda Hanbury, wrote: “It was a pleasure to work with you on this visit and just so nice to meet you in the centre. What a wonderful place it is and how marvellous it was to see everyone at Bobath. The beautiful picture given to The Duchess of Gloucester has been much admired by many and will remind us frequently of a very happy visit.”
