Remarkable young TV adventuress Julie McElroy – who has cerebral palsy – is once again pushing the boundaries by joining six able-bodied Bobath Scotland supporters on a fundraising trek in the dramatic Himalayas.
We’re delighted to announce that Bobath Scotland has been chosen as the beneficiary charity of The Coca-Cola Enterprises East Kilbride Family Triathlon. Launched on Tuesday 12 July 2011 at the John Wright Sports Centre in East Kilbride, the event itself – the first of its kind in Scotland - will take place on 28 August at the John Wright Sports Centre.
Bobath Scotland proudly welcomed its patron, HRH the Duchess of Gloucester, for her inaugural visit to the charity’s new therapy centre on the 8th of July this year.
On Wednesday 15th June, staff at Bobath Scotland were delighted to hold the official launch of our brand new Spifox therapy kitchen. Chef Brain Maule, from Chardon D’Or Restaurant, presided at the opening, preparing a lovely fruit salad with the help of four of the children who attend the centre.
