Parenting any child is hard work, but when your child has a disability, it can really feel like you're on your own.
That's why we've introduced our new Parent Support Group at our Children's Cerebral Palsy Therapy Centre in Glasgow, giving parents whose children attend for therapy a chance to meet other parents and carers in the same boat.
Whether you have specific logistical questions you'd like an answer to, or just want to know that you're not alone, the Parent Support Group is here to help you give your child the best possible start in life. All sessions are facilitated by a member of our therapy team, and held over lunchtime to make them as accessible as possible.
Currently the Support Group meets on the first Wednesday of every month between 11am and 1pm.
Next meeting: 7th March at 11am.
Subsequent meetings planned for: 4th April; 2nd May; 6th June; 4th July; Aug TBC; 5th Sept; 3rd Oct; 7 Nov; 5th Dec.
