Some children are referred to us by the NHS, and in some instances the cost of a therapy block is covered by the NHS. Please contact your child’s physiotherapist, occupational therapist or speech and language therapist, to discuss whether they would support a referral to Bobath.
If your child is aged 2-6 and about to move into nursery or primary school, Bobath may be able to cover the cost of a therapy block through the Right Start programme.
If your child does not meet the criteria for funding through the NHS, or through Right Start, we normally ask families to contribute £1,500 to the cost of a block of therapy. The full cost of a block of therapy costs around £5,000, but Bobath tops up the remaining £3,500 through our own fundraising.
There is also a series of groups throughout the year that children can apply to take part in that are fully-funded. These are:
If you are aged 18 or over, you may be able to apply for subsidised therapy sessions at our Glasgow centre through the Helping Hands scheme.
Many individuals or families raise money to contribute towards the cost of a block of Bobath therapy . If you would like to help raise money towards the costs of therapy, please call the fundraising team on 0141 352 5000 or contact us and we’ll give you all the help you need to get started.
We will also help you reduce the costs of online fundraising and make sure you are able to take advantage of adding 25% Gift Aid. Please talk to us before setting up a crowd funding page.
