Community & Events Fundraiser

3.5 days per week

Are you a practical, self-motivated person who enjoys meeting people and raising funds for a good cause? Are you looking for a role where every day there is something different happening? Do you enjoy getting out and about? If so, we'd like you to join our small friendly fundraising team here at Bobath Scotland to develop our community and events fundraising.

Bobath Scotland is a registered charity that helps people with cerebral palsy. We are based at our therapy centre in Glasgow but we help people from all over Scotland.

As our Community and Events Fundraiser, you will be responsible for supporting volunteers and donors to help them raise funds to meet targets, speaking to schools and community groups and leading on the organisation of our annual Dragon Boat challenge, our anniversary Ball and other major events. You will be engaging, organised and creative.

This is a happy, flexible role which will suit someone who has previous experience of events and/or community fundraising. We would like you to work a total of 3.5 days per week. The post is available for an immediate start.

We would be delighted to accept applications from candidates who need to work a non-standard day or have some home based working and agree a working pattern that works for everyone. A degree of flexibility from you is also needed as evening and weekend work is sometimes required.

This is a great opportunity to build a portfolio of activities and events and grow the job with you. A valid driving licence and access to a car is essential or access to a car with support worker/driver.
