Helping Hands

If you are aged 18 or over, you may be able to apply for subsidised therapy sessions at our Glasgow centre, via our Helping Hands scheme.

About Helping Hands

Through the generous support of the Robertson Trust, Bobath Scotland is able to offer therapy for adults at our Glasgow centre at a discounted rate.

Helping Hands allows an adult to access up to two blocks of therapy sessions per year. Each block comprises of ten 1-hour sessions.

The discounted rate for a block of ten sessions is £750 (£75 per session). This represents a saving of £55 per session on the standard Bobath rate.

The timing of the sessions is jointly agreed between the adult and Bobath therapists. For example, sessions could be taken in an intensive block, or spread evenly throughout the year.

We ask that each block of ten sessions is used between 1 April-31 March in any one financial year.

How to apply for Helping Hands

If you are interested in applying for the Helping Hands scheme, or would like further information, please give us a call on 0141 352 5000 or fill in the referral form.

Typically, we would invite anyone interested in Helping Hands to attend a short consultation session with our therapists at our Glasgow centre. This session is free of charge, and will give you the chance to find out more about what therapy sessions entail, and discuss whether this would be suitable for you, and any aims you may have for therapy.

Information about self-funding is available here.
