Bobath AAC Group

Bobath Scotland Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Group for primary school children aged 5-12 years.

Bobath Scotland's AAC groups are usually delivered during mid-term for schools in February. Primary school children aged from 5-12 years old are invited to attend the group across three days for sessions which typically last around 2 hours. Previous groups have been set around space and suprhero themes and activities have included fun facts, quizzes, building rocket packs, superhero training and art & craft sessions. The children are encouraged to participate using their communication devices to ask and answer questions, make choices, sing songs, tell jokes and interact with each other.
