Scottish Disability Sport (SDS) is the coordinating body for sports for disabled people
in Scotland. They have a role in promoting and developing sports, and to help with this
they have coordinators based in different areas of the country.
The sport of Wheelchair curling is an adaptation of the game of curling for people who have a disability affecting their lower limbs or gait. Wheelchair curling can be played by people with a wide range of disabilities. All that is needed is the co-ordination to hold a delivery stick and strength to push it with a stone attached to the other end, and a tolerance for cold. There are nine wheelchair curling clubs across Scotland.
The Scottish Wheelchair Dance Association have three groups across Scotland, in Cumbernauld, Kilbarchan and Fife.

SensationALL provides multi-sensory experiences for children and adults with disabilities, multiple support needs and their families.
Spotty Zebras are a support group based in South Ayrshire aimed at families of children with special needs. The group meets once a month so that parents/carers can get together and share information and support while their children play. The Experience have a fleet of specially adapted karts, allowing those with ranging abilities to experience the thrill of the race track. They have a designated support worker on hand to ensure everyone's safety and to make sure they have fun! All sessions are tailored to individual needs, ensuring the ultimate race track experience. The West of Scotland Football Club for the Disabled aims to promote, encourage and develop participation in football for all people who are ambulant with a physical disability with the added benefit of allowing team members to socialise and make new friends. This means the team caters for physical disabilities, however, the individual must be able to walk.
